A 26-year-old woman from Buffalo Grove, identified as Erin L. White, has been arrested for vandalizing the newly constructed Tesla sales, service, and delivery center located in the 900 block of Dundee Road. She faces charges of felony criminal damage to property and misdemeanor criminal trespass and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday in Rolling Meadows. The graffiti included profanity-laden messages targeting President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who currently serves as a senior adviser to the president and heads the Department of Government Efficiency. One of the messages expressed support for transgender rights. Workers spent Saturday morning cleaning the graffiti from the showroom's glass windows. The 50,000-square-foot Tesla center is nearing its opening and is part of the Bison Crossing development, which also includes a 224-unit apartment building and 30,000 to 40,000 square feet of retail space. Shorewood Development Group is investing approximately $100 million to revitalize the 16-acre site that had been dormant for nearly 14 years.
